The Salvation Army Veteran Services participated in the Colorado Spring Veteran Standdown event at Weidner Field on October 20th. The Veteran Standdown connects homeless Veterans to community service providers in the city. During the Veteran Standdown, The Salvation Army provided breakfast to Veterans, conducted outreach, and coordinated for homeless Veterans to enter its Veteran Transitional Housing program (GPD).
