Great news out of Raleigh this afternoon. Thousands of North Carolinians on the State Health Plan who go to doctors or hospitals in the Atrium chain of healthcare providers won’t need to start looking for a new doctor after all.

The State announced today that Atrium is back in the plan’s network of approved healthcare providers. No additional action will be required for our teachers and government employees covered by the state's healthcare plan.

Atrium, the state’s biggest hospital chain, has agreed to end a pricing plan that state officials said would harm the financial health of the State Health Plan. In return, the State Health Plan has agreed to put Atrium back in network.

Before I took office, big data centers moved into North Carolina and our families got stuck with the bill. That is why I took action to require data centers to pay their own way. Under my plan, they’ll pay for their infrastructure and pay for their own energy.

I also championed the Lower Taxes for All NC amendment to restrict politicians from promising you one thing and then raising our income taxes to pay for it.

I’m asking for your vote on November 3rd so I can keep working to make life more affordable for Cabarrus families.

Margaret and I are raising three kids here in Cabarrus. We know about rising grocery & energy costs. Before I took office, big data centers started moving into our state, leaving us with the bill. I fixed that in Raleigh, and now they’re responsible for their own infrastructure and energy, with zero impact on your power bill.

I’m fighting to put money back in your pocket by eliminating the grocery tax and permanently capping the fuel tax. That’s why I’m asking for your early vote so I can keep fighting to make life more affordable for Cabarrus families. committed to lowering income and property taxes, strengthening NC’s business climate, and improving the health and well-being of every North Carolinian.

Starting on Thursday, October 15th, early voting is open at 4 Cabarrus County Early Vote sites Monday through Saturday until October 31st.

My track record of results is available at JonathanAlmond.com. I'm ready to return to Raleigh. I'm asking for your early vote for Jonathan Almond for NC House! 🇺🇸

A new leader for the future of Cabarrus County. Vote Jonathan Almond for NC House on November 5th.

I’m honored to receive an “A” rating from the National R***e Association (NRA). This recognition reflects my consistent commitment to protecting the Second Amendment and defending the constitutional rights of law‑abiding citizens.

In the North Carolina House, I will continue to stand up for our freedoms, support responsible gun ownership, and ensure the voices of Cabarrus County families are strongly represented.

Thank you to the NRA for this rating, and thank you to the people of House District 73 for your trust and support.

Last weekend, GATE Pregnancy Resource Center marked 20 years of walking with women and families in Cabarrus County through an unexpected pregnancy.
Walk With Her put you in her shoes for about an hour. The positive test. The pressure. The questions that shape the next decision. Then the practical help Gate has offered for two decades: free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, education, and support through the first year of a baby’s life.
Thank you for everything you do for our community!
