A look back at our August Big of the Month, Alexis Mitchell!

Alexis and her Little, Brooklyn, have been matched through our Community-Based program since October 2022. Even when Brooklyn and her mom unexpectedly moved out of the area, Alexis remained a consistent, supportive presence in Brooklyn’s life, showing that distance doesn’t have to change the power of a meaningful relationship.

We’re grateful for Alexis and the dedication she continues to show Brooklyn and her family. Thank you for going above and beyond and demonstrating the lasting impact of mentorship!

We’re incredibly grateful to our generous sponsors for helping make this special evening possible and for investing in the power of mentoring and the young people in our community. Your support makes a lasting impact.

Yesterday, we were inspired by the powerful stories shared by Bigs and Littles and reminded of just how transformative it can be when a young person has someone in their corner.
