At an intimate lunch gathering, Linda Robinson drew on her new book, "Women in Power," to explore what leaders like Tsai Ing-wen, Mia Amor Mottley, and Kaja Kallas reveal about power, resilience, and the state of the world today.

Moderated by veteran journalist Lee Cullum, the conversation sparked insightful questions from the audience and an electricity that carried throughout the room – particularly among the many young women in attendance who left feeling inspired to run for office and engage in public life.

Thank you to the Council on Foreign Relations for cooperating on this event.

In the third installment of our International Perspectives Series, leading policy expert Kristian Coates Ulrichsen and legendary Texas sports voice Mac Engel came together to explore how governments use athletics to shape national image, build influence, and advance political goals – and whether those efforts actually work. With the FIFA World Cup on the horizon and Dallas in the global spotlight, the conversation touched on what sports diplomacy means for fans, host cities, and audiences worldwide. Thank you to series partner AJC Dallas.

The World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth was honored to welcome Her Excellency Ambassador Dina Kawar to Dallas for a conversation that was as opportune as it was compelling. One of the region's most distinguished diplomats, Ambassador Kawar spoke with clarity and conviction about the enduring partnership between the United States and Jordan. On the heels of the inaugural nonstop Royal Jordanian flight from DFW International Airport to Amman, she issued a powerful call to action for the region's global business community: the economic opportunities emerging across the Middle East are real, they are now, and this region is ready.
