As the United States prepares to celebrate 250 years of independence, we are reminded that the strength of our nation is rooted in the rule of law. For generations, the judiciary has helped uphold the principles of fairness, accountability, and equal justice under the law — ensuring that every voice can be heard and every person is treated with dignity and respect.
At the Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan, we remain committed to preserving public trust in the courts and serving our communities with integrity, impartiality, and dedication. The rule of law is more than a principle — it is the foundation of our democracy and a lasting promise that justice applies equally to all. As America approaches its 250th birthday, we honor the enduring role of the judiciary in protecting the rights and freedoms that define our nation.
