The Ford Fireworks are coming up! π BE PREPARED!
π¨ On Monday, June 22 (rain date Tuesday, June 23), between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m., a number of routes will end at the Bricktown People mover station downtown to accommodate the event.
β
DDOT personnel will be on site to assist passengers beginning at 5 p.m. Regular service is expected to resume at 11 p.m.
π The affected routes are: #5, #6, #9, #40, #52, and #67
π Starting at 5 p.m., ending at the Rosa Parks Transit Center will be 4- Woodward and 16- Dexter.
βΌοΈ PLEASE NOTE: 12- Conant will not be traveling to Belle Isle, per the DNR's island traffic restrictions the day of the fireworks.

Tomorrow, Friday, June 19, 2026, DDOT administrative offices at 100 Mack will be closed in observance of Juneteenth.
π Buses will operate a regular weekday schedule.

All administrative services will resume at regular business hours on Monday, June 22, 2026.

β οΈ Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17, through Friday, June 26, part of eastbound North Park Drive will be closed for road work.
π Reroute is as follows:
β‘οΈ 10-Greenfield Northbound: From Northwestern Highway service drive, to right on J.L. Hudson Drive, to left on Providence Drive, to continue as normal.
β‘οΈ 10-Greenfield Southbound: From southbound Greenfield, to right on J.L. Hudson Drive, to right on Northwestern Drive, to left on the North Park Drive bridge, to continue as normal.

βΌοΈ ICYMI: The Detroit Department of Transportation hosted a public hearing earlier this month to discuss proposed service changes that would take effect Monday, June 29, 2026.
π There is still time to submit feedback about these changes! You have until June 20, 2026, to leave a comment via email at [email protected], through U.S. Postal Mail to our 100 Mack Ave. office, or to our Customer Service Department at (313) 933-1300.
π Proposed service changes include minor changes such as midday frequency improvements, minor schedule adjustments, and addition of service days.
