The Dover Adult Learning Center of Strafford County plays a vital role in our community by helping adults enhance their skills, complete their education, prepare for careers, and enrich their lives through lifelong learning opportunities.

Their mission empowers students to become stronger learners, family members, employees, and engaged citizens.

This morning, the room was filled with community members, leaders, and advocates who share a common goal—supporting the mental health and well-being of those in our community through the Dover Mental Health Alliance.

The Dover Mental Health Alliance was created by individuals from all sectors of the community who recognized the need to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and raise awareness that mental health is just as important as physical health.

Through education, collaboration, and advocacy, the Alliance continues to foster meaningful conversations and create positive change.

Grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and stand alongside others who are committed to creating a more compassionate and supportive community.

Together, we can help ensure that mental health conversations continue to be welcomed, understood, and prioritized. 💚
