The American Legion Green Bryant Post 39 Durant, OK will hold our Monthly meeting this Saturday, the 13th of June, at 113 West Arkansas St. We'll start the meeting at 11:00 to serve our meal, followed by the business meeting and elections. The open offices are for the Commander, Vice Commander, and Second Vice.

The American Legion Green-Bryant Durant OK Post 039 will be closed on Wednesday, June 3rd. Recent activities including Memorial Day, Flags, and Durant Rodeo have kept the Post busy. This morning Legion, Auxiliary and friends set out flags for Memorial Day. We encourage you as you see these flags to take a moment and reflect on those who gave the ultimate price.

Legion Post 39 will be placing flags on Main Street on Sunday, the 24th, starting at 9am. We need volunteers for 50-plus flags. We will meet at 113 W Arkansas St, Durant.

The American Legion Post Green-Bryant Durant OK Post 039 had the honor of presenting Poppy Pins to veterans at Oak Ridge Nursing Center, paying tribute to the sacrifices of World War I. The Auxiliary President recited 'In Flanders Fields' with eloquence, and the residents expressed gratitude for the visit.
