Our Kindergarten students put their creativity, problem-solving skills, and engineering minds to work! As part of their Project-Based Learning (PBL), students explored the science of force and applied what they learned to design and create a toy delivery system. They were excited to share their projects and demonstrate how their creations worked with their families. We are so proud of our little engineers and all their hard work!

GATE Gifted & Talented Education

As part of our ongoing commitment to actualizing the unlimited potential of every learner, the Escondido Union School District offers Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) screening so we are able to meet the unique and diverse educational needs of students identified as Gifted and Talented.

Referral forms for parents of students

GATE testing is conducted for all

Today two 3 graders were awarded first and second place for a fire safety poster contest from the Escondido Fire Department. Winners received medals, books, a backpack and recognition in front of the whole school! Their work will be hung in the Escondido library for the next couple of months. Make sure to check it out with your family when you can! We are so proud of our Jaguars!

Our TK students had a fantastic Apple celebration this past Friday! We had exciting Apple themed activities, where students got to do apple science first hand. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers to help run stations!
