10/15/26 These adorable little friends were surrendered to the shelter and are looking for their new home. In typical puppy fashion they will need continued help with potty training, kennel training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization! They were described as very affectionate puppies and have already started on potty pad training! Puppies are a lot of work but worth the reward if you have the time to devote to them. If you are interested in meeting any of these adorable nuggets, please let us know!

Hanko (A143956) is a 4-year-old Chow mix who weighed 56.1 pounds on intake!

10/27/26 This is Miss Hanko! Hanko was surrendered to the shelter and is looking for her new place to call home! She was said to be kennel-trained and housebroken! She also seems to know the command sit! Hanko was noted to have a shy side, but we have found that she warms up with positive reassurance and plenty of treats! She does have a few naughty quirks like getting into the trash and jumping on counters. She was also said to be a bit of a runner and will jump a fence. She should always be on a leash, on a secure tie-out, or supervised when in a fenced-in yard. We do not know her experience level with children or other animals. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new people and animals. However, we do know she lived with other dogs. Haniko also had a pretty bad ear infection when she got to the shelter. She was seen and had it treated by the shelter vet. It is a good idea for her next owner to monitor her ears. If you are interested in meeting Hanko, please let us know!
