The Highlands Mansion and Gardens is a 44-acre historic site with a late 18th century Georgian mansion and two-acre formal garden.
(1)

Surrounded by massive stone walls, the gardens offer a beautiful example of early 20th, century estate gardening with an unusual blend of horticulture and architecture. The site features nine outbuildings, including a bank barn, springhouse, greenhouse, smokehouse and Gothic Revival gardener's cottage. The Highlands Historical Society began to restore the 2-acre formal garden to its appearance c.1925 - 1935 in October 2001, with a project at the screening wall on the east side of the garden.

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Hartz! 🤍

Meghan & Matthew said I do on Saturday in the parterre gardens, surrounded by family and friends. They had incredible wedding weather and the bride's Monet vision for the day absolutely came to life.

She made all the bud vases and designed the match books. Her bars were handmade and covered in linen. The florals were stunning and so was the picture perfect petal toss on the front steps of the mansion! There was even a spritz window🍾

Seriously cannot wait for ALL the professional images, film and reels shot at this wedding for a photographer bride and her dashing groom!

Best wishes to Meghan and Matt on a lifetime of love and adventure, all captured to share and cherish.

Sarah & Caleb got married!
This sweet couple said 'I Do' to a lifetime together last weekend. This bride was crazy creative and planned and crafted so many fun details. Thankfully, all her hard work came together on the most spectacularly sunlit wedding day. Fairy wings, colored goblets, fringe lamp shades and autumnal colors, oh my!!
Sarah & Caleb, congratulations on becoming husband and wife! Wishing you a lifetime of love and blessings. It was so much fun helping you on your most special day. Feeling grateful to have witnessed so much love and sweetness.

Last night, we had the honor of being the host venue for the Women's Center of Montgomery County's 50th anniversary celebration and fundraising event. It was an impactful and empowering evening with a welcome from Kathy Romano and incredibly crucial and touching speeches by Maria Macaluso, Katie Koestner, Betsy Robinson and Kathy Schlesinger. They also showed the trailer for a documentary about the Women's Center that will be playing at the Ambler Theater on Ocotber 18th. Guests enjoyed conversations with the keynote speaker and passionate volunteers of the center, while enjoying several food stations and a chance to bid on fabulous silent auction items.
Congratulations and thank you for 50 years of providing the essential need of a safe place for women confronted with all forms of abuse.
Thank you, Linda, Kathy, Betsy and Maria for trusting Williamson Caterers and I to help you with this event.
