This is for anyone who is interested in getting involved with PSGR and wants learn more about the organization, our goals, and how you can get plugged in to support the Palestinian liberation movement here in Grand Rapids.

Thank you everyone who joined our Nakba teach-in this past Saturday! All across the country we saw people honor the Palestinian national cause and commemorate the 78th anniversary of the Nakba.

In just 2 short months we'll be in Chicago to participate in the Antiwar Action Network national conference and we can't wait to meet many of the amazing activists who keep on bringing Palestinian solidarity and Antiwar causes to the forefront!

🎤Vigil + Rally at Monument Park on Wednesday May 13th at 6pm

🇵🇸Teach-in on the Nakba on Saturday May 16th at 3pm at Fountain St Church, 3rd floor courtyard

In 1948 zionist militias unleashed a campaign of terror across Palestine; destroying hundreds of villages, displacing hundreds of thousands of people, and conducting dozens of massacres. These zionist militias would go on to reorganize and became the newly established state of "israel's" formal military. The zionist state was founded on genocide and mass displacement and it continues this legacy 78 years later.

Through 78 years of the ongoing Nakba, Palestinians on their land and in diaspora have been in the struggle for establishing a Palestinian state. Their courage has been a powerful source of inspiration for the entire world and for all those who struggle for self-determination!
