Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, it’s great to be back on the campaign trail today. Thank you so much for being open-minded and giving me a chance. I am fairly certain that my ideas and attitude, forged by the Holy Spirit and instructed by Christ, will resonate if you just give me the benefit of the doubt. I believe our country could be so much better off if we all just gave each other the benefit of the doubt on a daily basis and treated others the way we would like to be treated. I have stated repeatedly in my speeches, beginning in my 2024 Candidacy Speech, that our nation has become angry and jaded over politics. After further contemplation, I would like to add that not only are we angry and jaded over politics, but now it is a metaphorical blood sport. Our road rage attitude on X or FaceBook eventually flows over into face to face interactions, where respect takes a backseat and blatant meanness rules the day. When you consider one of America’s adages “United we Stand, Divided we fall,” it is not beyond the pale to predict that our country, which is not an experiment, might fall because of our willful social misbehavior.
My desire today is that I will be able to express to y’all some important Daylight Party policy and the philosophy behind that policy. I have been anxiously awaiting this moment to tell you about how I believe our Immigration policies should be amended for everyone’s benefit. With broad strokes, I discussed Immigration in my 2024 Presidential Candidacy Speech, and I would encourage you to visit www daylight in the swamp dot org to easily link with that you tube based Speech. The people in charge in the Biden Administration, from what we’ve been told and shown, essentially opened our border. Not 1 person can claim this was righteous as our nation has a long history of immigrants “checking in,” like they famously and righteously did at Ellis Island. Unless you are a Native American of Indian descent, you are either an immigrant or you descended from Immigrants, and this is a noble attribute as we are known as the “melting pot.” I repeat from 2023, “E Pluribus Unum, or, Out of Many, One.”
Now that we have 500,000 illegal immigrants living on our soil, what is the sensible, righteous, safe and practical way to solve this problem. It pains me to see good, hard-working people living in the shadows while they live with the Sword of Damacles over their heads. So, let’s make this quick today. Our time is valuable. What I do not want to see our nation’s leaders do is repay evil with evil. If you are in this country illegally, you have 90 days to report to the United States Government. If, after being vetted for any and all crimes or terror ties, you will be cleared to receive a US Freedom ID card, which will allow you to work legitimately, pay taxes, sign up for Healthcare at the Marketplace and most importantly, pursue citizenship in the greatest country to ever exist on the planet Earth. This card will not get you benefits, money, groceries or anything else of value. In this country, there are plenty of jobs and plenty of churches which should help everyone with their needs without burdening our Congressionally controlled federal budget. If you are here illegally and you have not checked in within the 90 day grace period offered, you will be deported to your country of origin with no legal recourse available to you. If you have a serious criminal history or display a hatred of the United States, you will be deported. The end result of this policy outlined above is that our country is going to absorb a large number of good, upstanding people and will be sending the bad apples back home. This will all be a one-time solution that foundationally is reliant upon a secured border. I believe that going forward there will be a separate division of the Army Corps of Engineers called the Border Division. If you live in Michigan, it’s an old realization that once the Mackinaw Bridge is painted, the crew starts over. It will be much the same at our Southern Border. This new crew attached to the Corps of Engineers will be permanent and will continue to fortify all our borders while also maintaining them. This solution solves this decades old problem for good. What I like best is that it is the most righteous solution from both a security and humanitarian point of view.
Our Health insurance system is broken. Allow me to show you. If an individual does not have employer-based health insurance, their main option is to go to healthcare dot gov, otherwise known as the Marketplace, and choose a plan they can afford. The Marketplace offers subsidies for low-income earners, which is great. I’m going to guesstimate from my experience at the Marketplace that if one makes roughly $30,000 per year or less, the insurance does not cost any money to the insured. Again, no problem. If a person makes roughly $45,000 a year or more, there are no subsidies. This is where the product Mr. Obama’s team developed and Congress approved is extremely flawed and is doing it’s part to bankrupt middle America. I am one of these people. I make about 50 grand a year as a construction laborer and house painter. I receive no subsidies. My monthly premium is $400. And my deductible is $7,000. To do some quick math, if I have an unforeseen hospital stay, I’ve got $4,800 a year just to get started, that’s the premiums, and then I’ve got $7,000. Before you call me a crybaby, understand that that is $11,800. A year for my healthcare on a take home salary of 40k. When you do the math, that’s approximately 25% of all my take home money being spent on health insurance and doctor bills. It’s no wonder I am driving a truck from 2004.
At this time, I would like to tell you another accurate, true-life story about the possibilities that await each and every one of us after we retire. My golfing friend Herb, name changed here, spent his entire adult life working and saving. His occupation was Building Inspector. He and his wife retired and they had managed to put 250k away in savings. Herb’s wife fell ill with cancer. Being fully insured, they were praying for healing and not too worried about the cost of the treatment because they believed they had sufficient health insurance. Without going into anymore medical details, what happened next should anger and scare you. Herb and his bride were told that their insurance only covered so much and when the dust settled the medical community had their 250k in savings. Does this sound American to anyone?
I wish I had the background and expertise to make the necessary changes but I do not yet. This is where We, the People must band together and figure it out. Why do we expect politicians to solve the health insurance crisis when they’re not experts. When I am President, I will put together a team that is well versed in insurance, medicine, medical billing and economics to find all the leaks in the current system and fix them.
I have a plan to isolate and target fraud. As I said in my earlier speech, Josh Hawley, Missouri’s Senator, stated on Capital Hill that we have a TRILLION dollar fraud problem with our government. I intend to find and stop this fraud, and when we do, we will have significantly more resources for all problems including health insurance. As a side note, I am not fundamentally opposed to foreign aid, but when you see the ridiculous things the Red and Blue Congress approve of, all that money will certainly help us with our domestic problems, not limited to just homelessness. You see, our country should always be a beacon of hope, not a materialistic, monetary opportunity. We should be collectively working to figure out how the natural resources can be respectfully used to benefit our populace.
Take oil for example. Somehow, since 1492, our oil has gone from being in the Earth to being drilled, harvested and refined FOR THE BENEFIT OF CORPORATE AMERICA. Right here, right now, I am calling BU****IT on anyone that thinks the current set-up is good for America. Check it out, if you want to develop a product, lawyers call them widgets, and sell that product, grow, incorporate, become philthy rich, that is an option for you in the USA. But oil is not an invention and it is not intellectual property, it is a natural resource that technically and practically should be owned, controlled and disbursed by We, the People via Congress. It’s really no different than what’s going on up here in Michigan when Nestle is given permission to take Lake Michigan water in vast amounts and sell it for $1.89 a bottle. It’s fundamentally flawed, we all know it, but again, this is why the American Revolution happened, and that was because no one was asking the people what they wanted back then. Back in 17??, it was stated that we began the Revolution not because the taxes were too high, but because we had taxation without representation! Sound familiar? Okay, here I go digressing again. Here the solution for the oil and high gas prices problem. When I am President, we are going to, with the permission of the People, tell the Corporately owned oil companies that the natural resource they are peddling is now owned and controlled by the United States Federal Government. All oil on US soil will now belong to the People. The people working for the Oil Corporations will be welcome with their knowledge and skills to become US Federal Employees of the newly formed United States Oil Resource Management, including their CEO. His/her wage might drop, however from 215m a year to maybe 100k per year depending on what that person can professionally bring to the table. Here’s the great part fellow Americans, we are going to sell off only what we must to other countries for a period of time until we get our Strategic Reserves to a comfortable place. When our government under my direction becomes a lean, mean, compassionate machine built on the rule of law and accountability, we will have the ability to make gas cost whatever we want without being dependent on the Strait of Hormuz or any and all Corporate money sucking operations. Well, I think I covered enough today. I truly believe that there aren’t any problems that we as a Nation, cannot solve. Collectively, the United States has so much heart and soul combined with intelligence and fortitude to ever fail. Especially with our Police forces and military. What is holding us back is the red and blue team in Washington that is pitting neighbor against neighbor. It disgusts me. We have it so good here. For example, today at the grocery store, I had to choose between mango salsa, spicy salsa, and fresh mild salsa. Despite what other politicians think, people, we do have a lot to lose. I’m not going to try to use any scare tactics on you like others. I am here to let you know that you have a new choice for leadership. I intend and will only accept my wage of $400,000k per year. I do not own stocks, nor will I as a leader. I will not be leveraged monetarily or any other way. This is how I believe we can move forward under a good leader instead of the unnecessary political war mongers that have threatened our country’s inner peace for far too long. I am….
