Rowlett Fire Department has taken delivery of (2) new Spartan S-180 Model 3114 Engines, designated as Engine 3 and Engine 5. These engines are built on a Metro Star EMFD 10” Raised Roof Chassis with Cummins X12 500 HP Engines and Waterous CSU 2000 GPM Pump’s. These units carry 750 gallons of water, 20 gallons of foam, and include a FoamPro 1600 foam system.

The McAllen Fire Department recently completed the final inspection of another new Spartan S-180. This unit features a Spartan Metro Star chassis, a Cummins X12 500 HP engine, and the capacity to carry 750 gallons of water with a 20-gallon foam cell.

Engine 14, a Spartan S-180 Model 3114, was recently delivered to the Corpus Christi Fire Department. A few unique features of this unit include its customized pump house panel, auxiliary intake handle, dunnage area storage box and wind deflector on top of the hosebed. Moving to the interior, you'll find four (4) total cup holders thanks to multiple storage areas, numerous glove box holders, center cab cabinets lined with red LED lights, and a variety of equipment mounts.

This unit was delivered to the Corpus Christi Fire Department under a year thanks to our streamlined and efficient Make Ready Process, coupled with Spartan ER's S-180 Program. Together, we are building smarter and quicker, without compromise.
