As Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Week comes to a close, we're looking back on a week of education, awareness, and action. From sharing prevention tips to connecting families with resources, every conversation helps create healthier homes and safer futures for children. Thank you to everyone who helped spread the message that lead exposure is preventable. Together, we can protect children from lead and support healthy development for every child.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month.
Bullying can take many forms: physical, verbal, social, and online. No matter what it looks like, it can affect a young person's mental health, confidence, and sense of belonging.

Everyone has a role in creating safer, more supportive spaces for young people.

✨ What can you do?
• Treat others with kindness and respect.
• Include others and speak up when it's safe.
• Reach out to a trusted adult if you or someone you know is being bullied.

Remember: You are not alone, and you deserve to feel safe and supported.

Strong leaders, meaningful conversations, and powerful perspectives. 💫

In September, BFHD District Administrator and ATHENA Award recipient Janae Parent joined fellow ATHENA alumni for a leadership panel at the annual Women in Business Conference. BFHD Communications Director Amanda Moe moderated the discussion, helping spark conversation around leadership, service, and community impact.

We're proud to see BFHD represented at events that empower and inspire future leaders. 💙

Thank you to the -City Regional Chamber for another great conference.
