Getting ready for the Route 66 Centennial Caravan! The Big Texan will be hosting 2 steak challenges in Arizona next week. June 9 in Kingman at Locomotive Park and June 10 in Flagstaff at the Best Western Pony Soldier Inn.

The 2026 Arizona Preserve America Youth Summit: Route 66 Centennial and Next Generation Stewards is off to a great start! 😊

This four-day program is held at historic places associated with Route 66 including Flagstaff, Williams, Kingman and the Grand Canyon National Park.

The summit brings students from across Arizona together to explore Route 66 firsthand and contribute ideas for its future.

The program explores preservation and conservation challenges, as well as opportunities to interpret historic properties and to help develop ideas for the Route 66 Centennial. Additionally, the program focuses on why these places matter to future leaders.
