Washington Pike UMC’s food pantry will be open tomorrow 9-11, and they received a HUGE donation of frozen food today. Pizzas, ice cream, waffles, burger patties, etc!

No income requirement, they just ask for address and phone number (in case of recall). Tell anyone in need of food!

Yesterday, we also took time to celebrate and thank the community partners who invest in, serve, and lead alongside our North Knox area schools.

We were honored to share this appreciation breakfast with Christenberry Elementary School and Whittle Springs Middle School.

We deeply appreciate community leaders like Anne Templeton and Courtney Durrett who not only support our schools in spirit, but actively advocate for and invest in this community. We are grateful for their dedicated public service.

We were also excited to celebrate the trailblazing leadership of our newly formed PTO and the school leaders helping build that foundation.

In addition, local pastors, nonprofit leaders, enrichment partners, and so many generous individuals joined us — people who continually give their time, leadership, resources, and hearts to support our students and families.

It is truly an honor to work alongside this group. It was a beautiful morning filled with gratitude, connection, and hope.

* Shout out to Wild Love (local North Knox Bakehouse) for providing yummy pastries!*

* Shout out to Natalie’s Juice for their generous donation!*

* Shout out to Fulton High School for the flowers!*

* Shout out to OLPNA Neighborhood Association for letting us use their clubhouse!*

*Shout out to our very own Ms. Clevinger for making the banner!*

Today, Fulton Seniors walked the halls of our elementary school one more time. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and grateful to have been a part of where their journey began. Congratulations, seniors!
