Cindy Denise Purdy, age 61, of Lenior City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. Cindy worked for over 25 years as the Director of the Loudon County Family Resource Center, where she invested her life helping children, families, and others in need in Loudon County. Cindy is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Harper Purdy; grandparents, Paul and Ruth Purdy and Clyde and Easter Harper. She is survived by her father, Bob and Joy Purdy; brother, Shane and Ginger Purdy; sisters, Diane Purdy and Derrick Swenson and Becky and Jason Smith, also many close nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Cindy’s memory to the Family Resource Center, 4380 Harrison Rd, Lenoir City, TN 37772, (865) 986-2036. Cindy’s sweet smile and contagious laughter will always be missed.
