📘 The November–December 2026 NC FOP BlueNote is here!

Supporting our members means supporting the families behind the badge, strengthening connections across our lodges, and recognizing the difference officers make every day. This issue highlights that commitment through new resources, lifesaving service, and community outreach.

Inside this issue:

🎓 Gratitude Initiative: Free college and career preparation for eligible students in grades 8–12.

📱 NC FOP App: Member benefits, news, resources, and events at your fingertips.

⚖️ Legal Aid Requests: A new online form makes requesting support easier.

🏅 Lifesaving Awards: Honoring four officers whose quick actions helped save a cadet’s life.

🎁 Cops and Kids: Rocky Mount Lodge 46’s golf tournament helps make Christmas brighter for local children.

As we enter the holiday season, we’re grateful for the members, families, and local lodges who make this work possible. Explore this issue and share these updates with a fellow member! 💙

📰 The September–October BlueNote is here… and our social media reminder finally caught up. We’ll call it fashionably late. 😂

Here are FIVE highlights worth checking out:

💙 Leadership and the road ahead: Meet your State Executive Board and read about priorities following the 28th Biennial State Conference in Carolina Beach.

👏 Recognizing years of service: Help us thank Phil Wiggins for 32 years as State Chaplain and John Byrd for 18 years on the State Executive Board.

🎒 Giving back: Wake County Lodge 41 donated $5,000 to Tools4Schools, helping teachers stock their classrooms without reaching into their own pockets.

⚖️ Counsel’s Corner: This issue examines officers’ duty to intervene and report excessive force—an important topic for every officer.

🏛️ Your career, your retirement, your voice: Read updates on retirement advocacy and why North Carolina’s legislative races matter to law enforcement and our families.

Take a few minutes to catch up with your FOP family. There’s plenty more inside! 💙💛
