Multiple rounds of rainfall are expected to move across the area this afternoon through Monday evening. An anomalously moist environment over north Georgia will support high rain rates (1-2"+/hour) which will lead to increased chances for localized flash flooding. Please be mindful of the weather conditions especially if you have any outdoor plans.
05/24/2026
A cluster of thunderstorms over AL is expected to push northward and into the area by this afternoon. This cluster is expected to bring strong to severe storms, capable of producing damaging wind gusts across north and central Georgia.

Showers and storms will continue to develop across the most of north and central Georgia through the evening hours.
