✨ Looking Back on a Sweet Kindergarten Memory… Kinder Prom 2026 ✨

As we look back on some of the incredible memories from this school year, one highlight was our Kindergarten Prom on Friday, May 15th! ❤️🤍💙

From the smiles and dancing to the laughter and unforgettable moments, our little Aviators truly lit up the room. It was such a joy watching students celebrate friendships, make memories together, and enjoy a special night created just for them.

One of the sweetest moments of the evening was watching families participate in our special mother-son dance and daddy-daughter dance. These moments created memories that our students and families will cherish for years to come.

DJ Argusta helped set the mood throughout the evening with music that kept students, families, and staff smiling and dancing all night long! 🎶✨

Events like these remind us that school is about so much more than academics — it’s also about connection, joy, and creating experiences students will remember for years to come.

Thank you to our amazing staff and families for helping make this event so special for our kindergarten students. What a wonderful way to celebrate an incredible year together! ✨

🇺🇸 Honoring our Past, Inspiring our Future 🇺🇸

Please enjoy this special video collage showcasing each class project from our America’s 250th Birthday Celebration at Legacy Traditional School – Mesa! ✈️

Each classroom created a visual representation of an important moment in American history, coming together to form a living timeline of our nation’s journey. From Native American history and the Declaration of Independence to the Wright Brothers, Amelia Earhart, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Neil Armstrong, Sally Ride, and many more, our students helped bring history to life through creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

As shared during Friday’s ceremony, these were not just poster board projects — they were the story of our nation unfolding. More importantly, they were reminders to our students that progress happens when people choose to act, lead, persevere, and dream bigger.

This showcase connected history directly to our Aviators by reminding them that the future is not already written — it is being created right now by them. Every time our students choose kindness, responsibility, courage, and growth, they are helping build the future of our country.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, creativity, and leadership displayed throughout this collaborative project. 💙

Stay tuned for our upcoming Aviator book, Honoring our Past, Inspiring our Future, featuring each class project and celebrating the bright futures of our students.

🇺🇸 America’s 250th Birthday Celebration at Legacy Traditional School – Mesa 🇺🇸

On Friday, our Aviators came together for a special schoolwide celebration honoring America’s upcoming 250th Birthday through our flag ceremony and historical student showcase.

Leading up to the celebration, students and staff had a great time participating in our spirit week accessory days, helping build excitement and school spirit throughout the week!

Centered around the theme “Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future,” students reflected on the moments, leaders, and innovations that shaped our nation’s history while also being reminded that they are helping shape the future.

Some of the most meaningful moments included our schoolwide singing of My Country ’Tis of Thee, a beautiful performance of The Star-Spangled Banner by 6th grade student, Maleia, an outstanding ASL performance by 2nd grade, a read-aloud of the story How to Bake an American Pie led by Ms. Solheim, and hearing our entire Aviator community proudly shout, “Happy 250th Birthday, America!” during Principal Argusta’s opening remarks. 🇺🇸✨

We are so proud of the leadership, creativity, and respect our students demonstrated throughout this once-in-a-generation celebration.

If you attended Friday’s celebration, we’d love for you to share your pictures in the comments below! 📸
