What's your favorite way to enjoy lefse? Butter and sugar? Lingonberry preserves? Nutella? Brown cheese?
This is your chance to learn from the best how to make this Scandinavian favorite! Just pop in between noon and 2pm on Saturday, June 20 during the FREE 2026 Midsummer Festival to try your hand at making lefse and, of course, taste this beloved snack.

Saturday, June 6 is Swedish Flag Day!
The Swedish Heritage Society will celebrate by flying the Swedish Flags at the Scandinavian Heritage Park. 9:00am flags will be put out followed by Fika (coffee) at the Nordic Pavillion. At 5:00pm, there will be a potluck dinner at the Nordic Pavilion. Everyone with an interest in Swedish culture is invited.

Peace and Honor Quilts of Valor is a nonprofit organization made up of volunteers who craft beautiful quilts to be presented to veterans. When a veteran receives a quilt, they are not just receiving a blanket - they are receiving a symbol of care, respect, and recognition. Every stitch represents time given freely. Every pattern reflects thoughtfulness. And every finished quilt carries with it the collective gratitude of a community that understands the value of service.

Quilts of Valor will do a quilt presentation to honor veterans during the FREE 2026 Midsummer Festival on Friday, June 19. Stay tuned for a full schedule.

Funtyme Karaoke & DJ Service is a local entertainment company that provides entertainment services for a wide variety of events and they’re vital to the happenings at Midsummer Festival. We appreciate Lois and her team and everything they do (music and so much more) to make this special community event happen. Catch them entertaining us all June 19 and 20 at the Scandinavian Heritage Park!
