Yesterday the Elkins Wind Ensemble placed first at the Region 13 Honor Band contest! We are advancing to Area which takes place later in June. We are so proud of all of the hard work that went into making these recording the best they could be. Congratulations to all that participated! ⭐️

Congratulations to our Class of 2026 seniors on graduating today; we will miss you all so much! Thank you for all of the memories, musical experiences, and the dedication you have given to this program. You are all incredibly talented, hard-working individuals, and we cannot wait and see all the amazing things you will continue to do in the future. We hope the Elkins Band has given you the tools and knowledge necessary to impact our world for the better. Special shout out to Kenadi and Sam for giving amazing graduation speeches today! Thank you all, for making it count!

Please join us this Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the Elkins Auditorium for the 3rd Annual Trombone Studio Recital!

The first half of the recital will feature solo performances by our students, with music by composers such as David, Guilmant, Sulek, and more.

Following a short intermission with snacks and refreshments, the second half of the program will include a brief awards ceremony recognizing several outstanding members of the trombone studio, followed by small chamber ensemble performances.

The recital will conclude with performances by our two trombone choirs, featuring The Rains of Castamere by Ramin Djawadi and Leviathan by Jack Wilds.

This promises to be a fun evening filled with great music performed by wonderful young musicians, and we hope to see you there!
