I got sunshine
I got warm temps
I got springtime
Who could ask for anything more?
I got daisies
In green pastures,
I got springtime
Who could ask for anything more?
Ol' Man Trouble,
I don't mind him.
You won't find him
'Round my door.
I got sunlight,
I got sweet dreams,
I got springtime,
Who could ask for anything more?

Is this the forecast? Is this just fantasy? That's right, weather peeps, there's no escape from this reality. We've got some magnifico weather to look forward to, still more spring-like than summery. Open your eyes. Look up to the skies and see abundant sunshine today and for the next few days. Indeed, it's easy come, easy go, little high, little low this week. Yes, thunderbolt and lightning are very, very frightening, but not until this weekend. Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, I'll still do the Fandango. And if I'm not back again this time tomorrow, carry on, carry on.

Finally! After days of showers and storms, Middle TN is trading umbrellas for sunglasses. Sunny skies and drier air are on the way with comfortable highs in the 80s. Mother Nature is giving us a sunny reset! Get out there and make the most of it.😎

Another stormy morning. We do have a low risk of severe weather later this morning into this afternoon, mainly along I-65 and west. We're tracking a line of storms in Kentucky that will work into our neck of the woods over the next 2 to 3 hours. Primary concerns will be strong winds, very heavy rain, and small hail. Activity will come to an end later this afternoon and early evening, and the weather looks drier and less humid through Friday!

Your Sunday afternoon in Middle Tennessee may include watching a race, jousting, fixin' bbq, hiking, swimming, or just settin' on the porch. Regardless, keep an eye to the sky and move indoors if thunderstorms approach. Rain may be heavy, so don't drive through flooded roads or take your afternoon nap in a ditch.
This soupy, stormy pattern has been with us 10 days and we have just one more to get through. The pattern could wrap up with a bang on Monday as we have a level 1 out of 5 risk for severe storms with gusty winds.
There could be a couple rounds of storms Monday. The first batch is shown between 9 AM and 1 PM with another less likely batch possible late in the afternoon.
By Tuesday morning, we will all be feeling cooler, dry north winds. That will set us up for some very fine grass cuttin' weather this week.
