Heads up trick-or-treaters! Showers are moving into Middle TN and may put a damper on plans for those west of Nashville. There's no lightning with any of these showers and rain rates are very light, but this activity will continue to overspread the area tonight. ☔🎃🍬

Happy Halloween, Middle TN! Another warm day is in store with dry conditions expected for most. Although chances are low, areas west of I-65 will have the best shot at seeing light rain this evening. Rain chances will increase overnight statewide.

The hunt for wet October continues with...more dry weather. Today and tomorrow will be continued warm with no rain either day. The next rain chance comes at us late Saturday, but it's not a high chance. It appears that most of you will get through trick-or-treating without getting wet (unless someone decides to turn on their lawn sprinkler). Better rain chances will arrive on Sunday, but then it will be a November rain.

There are low to medium rain chances (25-45%) for trick-or-treating on Saturday. We'll see how the forecast trends, but until then, enjoy this look back at past Halloweens!

It's been ceiling unlimited for days on end, weather peeps, but we're going to be trading that in for bruised and sullen storm clouds this weekend as the next rain chances finally come our way (fingers crossed!). Of course, the rain chances appear to be materializing right when it's time for trick-or-treating. So you may have to carry an umbrella while walking your streets and subdivisions. It's a far cry from the weather we would normally want on Halloween, but that's how it is. At this point, I'd keep an eye on the forecast. There's a ghost of a chance that the rain might hold off until after the festivities, but just be aware of the possibility of a rainy Saturday evening.
