Major Drug Stash Location Uncovered near Yankee Stadium in the Bronx: Two Arrests


➡️ Two men were arrested on narcotics possession charges following an investigation that dismantled a major drug stash location near Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

➡️ A court authorized search of a residence yielded a combined total of approximately 2.5 kilograms (over five pounds) of co***ne, ketamine, and M**A, as well as approximately 30 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, over 100 pounds of ma*****na, and $85,000 cash.

🚨Today is the 5th annual National Fentanyl Awareness Day.

➡️ Fentanyl is up to 50x stronger than he**in and 100x stronger than morphine and it remains the leading driver of overdose deaths. In 2024, 73% of overdose deaths in New York City were caused by fentanyl.

➡️ Often, it is unknowingly mixed and pressed into counterfeit pills that look like they are legitimate prescription pills.

Today, Bridget Brennan and Christopher Roberts, DEA NY Division Task Force Special Agent in Charge, held a press conference with Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny, and NYSP Major Trenee Young announcing the dismantling of three large fentanyl packaging mills in the Bronx and Manhattan. Over 90 pounds of fentanyl, $30,000 cash and two guns were seized. The fentanyl was likely intended for distribution in New York City.

Also attending the press conference was NYPD K9 “Mulk”, who after alerting the presence of narcotics at one mill apartment, began exhibiting signs of fentanyl poisoning. Mulk was later revived with Narcan, an opioid reversal drug.

🚨Six Arrested at Fentanyl/Heroin Packaging Mill in the Bronx: Narcotics Found Throughout Apartment, Including in Baby Bouncer Seat

➡️Six men were arrested during a court-authorized search of a fentanyl and he**in packaging mill located inside an apartment in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx.

➡️Approximately three kilograms of fentanyl (over six pounds), carrying an estimated street value of over $500,000, was seized during a court-authorized search. The organization also appeared to be bottling counterfeit xylazine, a veterinary tranquilizer often found in combination with fentanyl. Narcotics were found spread throughout the mill apartment, including a bag of fentanyl packets inside a baby bouncer seat.

Fentanyl Packaging Mill Dismantled in Bronx Apartment Building: Six Arrested, over 13 Pounds of Fentanyl

➡️ Six men were arrested and charged in connection with a fentanyl packaging mill operating inside an apartment building on Grand Concourse in the Bronx.

➡️ Over six kilograms of fentanyl (13 pounds), carrying an estimated street value of more than $1 million, were recovered from the apartment, including tens of thousands of dosage-sized glassine envelopes ready for distribution. Bulk quantities of co***ne were also recovered.

Three Pill Pressing Machines and Over 16 Pounds of Alleged Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Co***ne and Oxycodone Recovered in Ozone Park, Queens: Three Arrested

➡️ Three men are charged with participating in a narcotics trafficking operation following an investigation that ran for several months and resulted in the seizure of three illegal pill pressing machines and over four kilograms (10 pounds) of fentanyl in powder and pill form from a residence in Ozone Park, Queens. Also recovered were more than two kilograms (over six pounds) of m**hamphetamine, co***ne, and oxycodone pills.

➡️ The drug network allegedly used a residence located across the street from PS 377Q, S.T.A.R. Leadership Academy, as an illicit pill manufacturing and drug stash location.
