What an incredible week last week at State FCCLA Conference!

We are proud of our Nevada FCCLA Chapter for earning the Silver Honor Chapter award!

A special shoutout for Natalie Emery for an amazing conference:
-Recognized for her Peer Education Project
- Celebrated for saying "Yes" to her future by signing her letter of intent to major in a field of study related to FCS.
-And making history as Nevada FCCLA's first-ever State Officer. She officially completed her term passing the torch to the next Public Relations Officer.

The future is bright!

Nevada FCCLA helped prepare and package meals at Food at First this week. Our members worked together to provide free, nutritious meals for individuals and families across Story County. We’re proud to support an organization that makes a meaningful impact in our community and grateful for the opportunity to serve.

Nevada FCCLA went to our district meeting last Monday.

We brought coffee pods and hot chocolate to be donated to the Ronald McDonald house.

Members toured DMACC and it's various programs as well as attended breakout sessions.

FCCLA was able to present the patriotic quilt they made to Tim McLauglin at the Veteran's Day Ceremony!

This past week, our FCCLA students began a meaningful service project — a patriotic quilt that we plan to gift to a veteran at the Veterans Day assembly. Each stitch represents appreciation, respect, and gratitude for those who have served our country. We can’t wait to see the finished quilt and share it with someone who has given so much.

Service in Action!

Recently our FCCLA members volunteered at Harmony Clothing Closet, helping organize donations and give back to our community.

We loved being part of such a meaningful cause and seeing firsthand how small acts of service can make a big impact!

EGG-cellent Lab Day!

Teamwork makes the dream work! The Nevada FCCLA officer team kicked off the year with some fun team bonding at an escape room . Then got down to business planning an amazing year ahead during our working lunch!
