On October 31, 2026, at approximately 1:02 am, personnel from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded to a vehicle versus a pedestrian traffic collision near the intersection of Avenue P and 12th Street East within the City of Palmdale.
The preliminary facts of this investigation indicate at approximately 1:00 am a pedestrian was running across the eastbound lanes of Avenue P when a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, dark colored driving east in the number one lane of Avenue P crashed into the pedestrian. The pedestrian was immediately transported to the Antelope Valley Hospital in critical condition where she succumbed to her injuries.
Anyone with information regarding the traffic collision is encouraged to call Palmdale Sheriff Station, Detective Carbajal, at 661-272-2400. The investigation is ongoing.
