Brentwood PA Tax Collector

I am at the boro building from 6-9 pm collecting taxes. If you want to ensure I receive your payment before April 30th or have other tax related questions, stop by there’s no line.

Reminder that April 30th marks the end of the discount period.

If your check has been cashed then you can rest assured I have received everything and if you included a self addressed stamped envelope I will be sending your receipt soon.

If your check has not cashed, there is still a lot of mail for me to get through, but if it gets past April 20th and your check that you mailed in March is still not cashed, you should check in with me, or write a new check and use our drop box or visit during office hours to ensure it’s delivery.

Our postal workers work very hard, but sometimes letters get lost. Don’t let that get in the way of you getting your discount!

Good news! We got our drop box installed. It is located next to the police entrance at the boro building. The lockbox next to the front door is for sewage payments.

I will be at the Boro building tonight from 6-9 pm. If you would like to meet in person, please stop by.

I’ve gotten a lot of calls and mail for people paying bills. Unfortunately my house was one that was affected by the power outage. We just got power back so I’ll catch up on everything I can today and through Wednesday.

I’ve been getting a lot of calls lately and wanted to clarify some things.

My office is located at the Brentwood Municipal Building.

The office hours are entirely dedicated to helping anyone who would prefer in person meetings. So feel free to stop by, there is no restrictions. Just come during the designated hours.

There will be a drop box, I am working with the boro to get that setup just like the sewage drop box.

If you would like a receipt mailed back to you, please include a self addressed envelope when mailing your taxes in or dropping them in the drop box.

Real estate tax bills can only be paid by check or cash at this time.

There is no Zelle account. Certainly not one for the tax collector. Please do not fall for any online or phone scams telling you that you can pay electronically. We DO NOT currently accept electronic payments.

Just a reminder that my office is located in the Brentwood Boro Building. When you walk in the front door. Walk down the hall and I am on your right.

Municipal tax bills will be dropped off at the post office first thing Monday morning. Included in the envelope will be an insert that details all my contact information, office hours, and expected office closure dates.

Wednesday March 4th I will be holding office hours at the boro building from 6-9 pm.

Please note the mail can be slow some times, give them a few weeks to get everything out. If you have not received your bill by April 1st, please call me at 412-935-7448 or come to one of my designated office times at the boro, and I will get you a copy of the bill.

April 30th is the deadline for the 2% discount period.

If you need a real estate tax receipt for your income tax return. Please call me at 412-935-7448.

If you have an email, be sure to mention it in your voicemail, as it is much faster than the regular mail.

Remember, the State and Local tax exemption cap for itemized tax payers raised last year to 40,000. So these real estate tax receipts can be helpful when filing your return.
