We are looking to hire Election Day workers for the 2026 Elections! Classes begin in March. Please contact us if you are interested.

The deadline to change your party is Saturday, 2/14. Please note that Dutchess County offices will be closed Thursday, 2/12 for Lincoln's Birthday, and Monday, 2/16 for President's Day. We will be open Saturday, 2/14 from 9AM-5PM.

All party changes must be received by the Dutchess Board of Elections by February 14th for the Primary Election in June. Party changes received after this date will be processed in July.

Our office will be open Saturday, February 14th from 9AM to 5 PM.

Early voting is available for all Dutchess County voters from October 25 through November 2. You may vote at ANY of the locations listed. Hours vary by day, so please check the schedule below.

Early voting for the 2025 Primary Election will be available from June 14 through June 22.

Two sites will be open: Mid-Hudson Library Auditorium (105 Market St, Poughkeepsie) and Red Hook Town Hall (7340 S Broadway, Red Hook). Eligible voters may vote at EITHER early voting site. Hours vary by day, so please check the schedule below.

The Dutchess County Board of Elections is open from 2pm-9pm TODAY (October 5th)and 5pm-8:30pm on Thursday (October 10th), for extended Local Voter Registration times.

The Dutchess County Board of Elections is administering the New York State Presidential Primary on Tuesday, April 2nd and is seeking to recruit upwards of 90 Election Day workers. The stipend for the day’s work is $300, plus $35 for training. Any registered voter is qualified to serve as an Election Inspector and may call (845) 486-2473 and should ask for either Bryan or Geno.
