We are so grateful to Sartartia Middle School and the amazing 6th grade students who joined us for their Day to Serve with FBWC.
The students learned about our mission and the importance of promoting awareness around respectful relationships. They then helped us bring that message to life by decorating denim pieces that will be displayed to help spark community conversations and raise awareness.
We are truly thankful for these young volunteers who showed up with creativity, kindness, and enthusiasm. A special thank you as well to the dedicated staff and volunteer parents who supported and guided the students throughout the day.
Partnerships like this remind us that change starts earlyโand grows stronger together.

๐๏ธ Thank you to the team for featuring Josh Brown, CEO of Fort Bend Womenโs Center, on KRBE Around Houston hosted by Maureen Cooper for an important recap of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
During the interview, Josh spoke about the importance of education, prevention, survivor support, and continuing the conversation beyond just one month of awareness. Awareness is only the beginning โ action, advocacy, and support must continue every day.
We sincerely appreciate KRBE and Cooper for providing a platform to highlight this critical issue and help amplify voices that matter.

We were honored to be recognized by the Teen Philanthropy & Leadership Initiative at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center, where young leaders reminded us all that impact is not measured by age, but by action. Their commitment to values of human dignity, justice, responsibility, love, and kindness is already shaping a stronger community.
At Fort Bend Womenโs Center, we see every day how compassion changes lives. A warm meal, a safe bed, a hotline answered in the middle of the night, counseling at no cost, or life-skills support that helps survivors rebuild with confidenceโthese moments are only possible because people choose to care.
This generation has shown what is possible when hearts lead. The question for the rest of us is simple: ๐๐ถ๐น๐น ๐๐ฒ ๐ท๐ผ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐บ?
Every gift, of any size, becomes safety, healing, and hope for survivors and their children.
