Community Place and Charles Settlement House were honored this week to be the recipient of kindness from the good people at Paylocity Rochester! They showed up (and showed out) by donating and packing over 200 cold weather kits to benefit our neighbors in need. Each kit includes:

Hat
Gloves
Socks
Hand warmers
Toe warmers
Reusable thermos/water bottle
Reusable bag

Thank you to all who helped out in this effort - special shout out to Julia, Tyler, and Adam for making this happen.

We wanted to take a moment share this great news from McDougall Communications about Wendy Boyce who serves on the board of directors for Community Place and Charles Settlement House! Congratulations on making the Rochester Business Journal's 40 under 40! It is so well deserved and we could not be more proud!!

A huge congratulations to our very own Wendy Boyce on being named a 2026 RBJ Forty Under 40 honoree!

The Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40 honorees are exceptional leaders who balance busy careers, education and family while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others — and Wendy embodies that spirit and so much more.

We’re lucky to have her on our team and couldn’t be more excited to see her recognized for all that she does, both professionally and in our community.

Congratulations, Wendy! This well-deserved honor is something to celebrate!🎉
