🌟Shore Gives Spotlight on Shore Legal Access🌟

Shore Legal Access' mission is to support and assist individuals and families who are unable to afford representation in civil legal matters and to provide connections to community services. They make the law affordable and accessible to Eastern Shore residents facing challenges in the area of civil legal matters, including family, life and estate planning, consumer debt, and housing law, as well as criminal record expungement.

The Shore Gives 365 Giving Season Campaign begins November 1, bringing new opportunities for nonprofits to earn bonus funding through Spotlight Bonuses, Champion Awards, and the Shore Choice Award.

To be eligible, organizations must have an active, complete, and up-to-date Shore Gives 365 profile by November 1. If your organization is not yet participating in Shore Gives 365, there's still time to join and take part in this year's Giving Season.

Thank you to everyone that came out to our Ribbon Cutting for our second office at 11029 Racetrack Road, Suite 2, in Ocean Pines! I was wonderful to see so many familiar faces. This office will be open Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.. We are located in an annex of the First Shore Federal S & L Association building.

Life Crisis Center's mission is to improve the quality of life in our community through crisis intervention and violence prevention. They assist survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and child abuse in Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset counties. Life Crisis Center offers various services including; safe housing, medical and legal accompaniment, counseling, and more.
