Herriman received .31” of rain in the past 24 hours. Just enough to muddy up the trails. Yellow Fork and Butterfield trails are closed today. They will remain closed through Monday due to the impending rain forecast.

Salt Lake County trails in Yellow Fork and Butterfield canyons will be closed today due to heavy rain yesterday. We will open them tomorrow for the weekend.

The county trails in Butterfield and Yellow Fork have been closed due to muddy conditions. Rain is forecasted for next couple of days. Hopefully we can open the trails on Wednesday.

Salt Lake County Butterfield trails will be closed to the public Friday through Sunday, 10/9-10/11, due to a private event. Yellow Fork trails will be open, but be aware that if you use Butter Knife from Yellow Fork you will not be able to access the trails in Butterfield. Thanks for your cooperation.
