SAVE THE DATE - Transgender Day of Remembrance - November 20, 6 - 9 pm.

Please join us in remembering our trans friends and family whose lives were lost to anti-transgender violence this year at on Friday, November 20th from 6 PM- 9 PM.

The event will start with a resource fair followed by an open mic where you are invited to read poems, messages, statements, and stories, hosted by (details and a link to sign up are in our bio). We will close out the evening with a reading of names by candlelit vigil - for those interested in reading out names, please contact [email protected].

Case Manager Appreciation Week may have been last week, but the gratitude we have for our team deserves recognition all year long.

At Thrive Youth Center, our case managers do so much more than connect young people to resources. They build trust, navigate barriers, celebrate milestones, and show up for our youth through the hard days and the big wins.

To our incredible case management team: thank you for the compassion, patience, advocacy, and heart you bring to this work every single day. Your work makes a real difference in the lives of the young people we serve, and we’re grateful to have you in our corner. 🫶🏽🏳️‍🌈

What would make housing more affordable in San Antonio?

The City of San Antonio’s Neighborhood and Housing Services Department (NHSD) wants to hear from YOU!

An Affordability Bonus Program could encourage developers to include affordable homes in new projects in exchange for being allowed to build more housing or larger buildings than zoning rules typically allow.

This approach could help create more affordable housing, connect people to jobs and public transit, and bring additional benefits to our communities.
