The government has established Temporary Flight Restrictions around special event locations, such as NASCAR, where flying a drone is strictly prohibited. The FBI works with the FAA and our LE partners using federally authorized capabilities to detect, track, and asses unauthorized drone activity that could threaten aviation safety, critical infrastructure, or publicity safety out or around event venues.

Always check airspace restrictions using FAA-approved B4UFLY apps or visit tfr.faa.gov before you fly a drone. If you notice unlawful drone activity, report it immediately by calling 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Through education and open discussion, we helped participants recognize common fraud tactics, learn how to protect their personal information, and know where to turn for help if they become a target.
