Our TEAH Task Force recently met to discuss community development updates, focusing on the upcoming 30-year Mid-City Communities Plan Update.

City representatives joined us and presented a proposed land-use strategy emphasizing growth along transit, bike, and pedestrian friendly areas. The plan also aims to provide a range of housing options across Mid-City. During the meeting, our community discussed topics such as density, affordability, displacement protections, design priorities, youth involvement, and how new housing and infrastructure projects will impact City Heights.

Additional community meetings are planned for the fall, ahead of the second draft and environmental analysis phase, which will inform and shape the next 30 years of land use and development priorities in City Heights and Mid-City.

Interested in joining our next TEAH and BET community meeting? Send us a message — we’d be happy to connect with you!
