"Commanding the Seas" .... The mobile blood collection crew from the NMCSD Blood Donor Center will hold its first ever ASBP blood drive with the guided missile destroyer USS Chafee on Thursday, June 25 at the Waterfront Rec Center at NBSD from 0900 to 1300. T-shirts for all donors! Come one, come all. Looking forward to a successful first time drive!

The ASBP San Diego mobile blood collection crew made a road trip to Yuma, AZ for a first ever ASBP blood drive with VMFA 211. There they found Marines, Sailors and civilians happy to donate blood for their fellow military members while they also worked toward establishing a Walking Blood Bank roster for thier unit. Thanks VMFA 211 for an awesome blood drive!

SHIPBOARD BLOOD DRIVE ... Sailors aboard USS Makin Island join with the rest of crew in helping create a way to save the lives of your fellow shipmates and aid the warfighters all around the world. Talk with the medical crew to find out how your O positive blood can help to save the lives of others.
