Meet Greg! He's been volunteering with the SLO Food Bank for almost a year. One of his favorite things about volunteering is connecting with the many volunteers, staff, and neighbors who make the SLO Food Bank community so special. Due to extraordinary high tides, this year's SLO County Turkey Trot is going virtual. But the mission remains the same: helping provide holiday meals for neighbors facing hunger.

Trot from your neighborhood, your favorite trail, or wherever you’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving. Registration includes a limited-edition Turkey Trot t-shirt or bandana, so you can show your Turkey Trot spirit wherever you are.

Schedule update for our Cal Poly neighbors:

Starting this month, the SLO Food Bank's Cal Poly Neighborhood Food Distribution will take place on the first Monday of each month, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

We mean it when we say farm to pantry. Thanks to our Glean program and the volunteers who make it possible, fresh produce is harvested from local farms and shared with neighbors through pantry sites and food distributions across San Luis Obispo County.
