Public Meeting Notice: Long Term Control Plan (LTCP) Public Input Session

The Onondaga County Department of Water Environment Protection (OCDWEP) invites the public to attend an upcoming presentation and public meeting to provide input on the Long Term Control Plan (LTCP).

Two identical public meetings will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Metropolitan Syracuse (Metro) Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) campus, Plant Operations Center (POC) 3rd Floor Conference Room, at the following times:

• 4:30 PM
• 6:00 PM

Community members are encouraged to attend either session to learn more about the LTCP, ask questions, and share input that will help inform the planning process. This meeting is part of the public participation process supporting development of the LTCP.

We had a fantastic time this weekend at the MOST's Earth Day Splash Fest! 💧🌎 Even indoors there were many hands-on activities and over 750 attendees. The energy was incredible, busy the entire time, and WEP was proud to be celebrating the importance of protecting our water resources. Thanks to everyone who stopped to connect, learn, and have a splash with us! 🌊
