🎧🎶 TURN UP THE BEAT… AND THE MATH!🔥📈🎵

Who knew math could sound SO good?! 🤩🎤 Our 7th-grade students took learning to a whole new level as they explored the connection between music, tempo, and BPM (beats per minute) with local DJ and artist José Ray 🎛️🎚️

Students discovered how BPM represents a unit rate and how the slope of a song’s tempo can be explored through math! 📊🎶 From numbers on a graph to beats you can actually HEAR, this lesson brought math to life in a whole new way! 🧠💡🔊
Huge thanks to José Ray for sharing your talent, creativity, and passion with our students! 💙💛 You showed our young learners that math isn't just something you solve… it's something you can FEEL! 🎵🙌

Students discovered just how important these tiny but mighty creatures are to our environment and the big role they play in keeping our ecosystems thriving! 🌎💚🌺

A HUGE thank you to our friends at GSU for bringing science to life and inspiring our young environmental stewards! 💙💛🔬
