Last week, we hosted our World Order & Globalization Hub Alumni Conference, bringing together 31 participants from 21 countries — including academics, advocates, entrepreneurs, policy experts, and politicians. 🌎🌍🌏

Through lectures, discussions, and breakout sessions on topics ranging from campaigning and international trade to emerging technologies, energy policy, and women in politics, participants collaborated on one shared goal: defending and strengthening liberal values at a time when they are increasingly under pressure. 📝

We are deeply grateful to everyone who traveled to Washington, DC to contribute their ideas, energy, and expertise. At a time of growing uncertainty, this conference reminded us that international cooperation, open dialogue, and a shared commitment to liberal democracy continue to inspire hope for the future of the liberal world order. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽

Memorial Day is a national holiday celebrated every last Monday in May in the United States. This year on May 25th. This day is dedicated to honoring and remembering military members who have died while on duty. Not only is it a moment of national mourning, Memorial Day is also a symbol of deep appreciation for their service and sacrifice in maintaining the independence and security of the United States of America 🇺🇸.
