HIV doesn’t spread evenly across populations, and the Asian and Pacific Islander community in the U.S. is a good example of how a problem can be quietly underestimated. Lower visibility can lead to complacency, delayed diagnoses and fewer targeted resources. When people aren’t routinely tested, infections are more likely to be discovered late, which makes treatment harder and increases the risk of transmission.
Hear from long-time ANAC member Wei-Ti Chen about her work and why this day matters to her.
