We are so grateful for our community partners that take time to meet with and mentor our students! This Tuesday evening, four local bilingual healthcare professionals served on a panel as part of our "Building Careers in Spanish: Pathways in Healthcare" series.

Over 50 students attended the event and heard directly from these professionals about how they use Spanish in their careers to better serve their patients and clients. Students made connections with these professionals that will result in ride-alongs, shadowing opportunities, and internships, not to mention a renewed commitment to increasing their cultural and linguistic proficiency in Spanish to improve outcomes with patients and clients in their future careers!

お月見🎑✨ Moon-Viewing 2026.

Japan Club, the Physics Society, and the Asian Heritage Culture Center joined us for our annual Moon-Viewing Festival at Wrightsville Beach. Students prepared hundreds of handmade mochi to share, and we learned about the long history and rich present of a Zen Buddhist tradition.
