A closer look at salmon migration in the Shasta Valley!

Today, SVRCD staff and board members joined California Department of Fish and Wildlife staff at Big Springs Ranch to observe salmon migration and learn more about the RCD’s role in water monitoring.

Visits like these are a great opportunity to work together and better understand how water quality and ongoing monitoring support healthy salmon habitat.
