MMC Roads & Transport Tshwane update

Today, MMC for Roads and Transport, Cllr Tlangi Mogale, engaged directly with motorists along Ngobeni-Manganye Road to assess the condition of the newly resurfaced road and receive feedback from road users.

We are back in Ward 18 at Ngobeni-Manganye Road, where MMC for Roads and Transport, Cllr Tlangi Mogale, together with the Roads and Transport team, is conducting an assessment following the successful completion of the road resurfacing project.

Today, we are outside the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, an area that was previously affected by severe road deterioration. We are pleased to see the completed work, which will greatly improve mobility, accessibility, and safety for congregants, residents, and all road users in the area.

This is a demonstration of our commitment to delivering quality infrastructure and ensuring that communities experience the benefits of improved road networks.

Eight weeks ago, MMC responsible for roads and transport Cllr Tlangi Mogale visited Ngobeni-Manganye Road and made a commitment to residents that the road would be rehabilitated. Today, we are pleased to report that road resurfacing has officially commenced, and we are encouraged by the progress already made on site.

Today, MMC for Roads and Transport, Cllr Tlangi Mogale, is back at Ngobeni-Manganye Road to provide residents with an update on the road rehabilitation project.

Following concerns raised by the community about the poor condition of the road, the MMC committed to ensuring that the matter received the necessary attention. We are pleased to report that work is now underway, with teams on site busy resurfacing the road.
