Our Story

Since 2002, May, BCSCC is a Canada based non-political, cultural and charitable organization that promotes and practice in the south Asian arts, culture, and heritage. Especially we are upholding the 1000 years old and very rich Bengali Culture, Mother tour of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Thailand, Mayanmar and Afganistan participating and organizing events, gatherings, meetings and forums in the National Capital Region. The organization supports, helps, and coordinates Ottawa’s South Asian Canadian residents to achieve community peoples to their social and cultural goals through perseverance and hard work that lead to integration with the Diversified Canadian Multicultural system. Our organization also supports and helps newcomers to settle and to integrate into the wider culture, and encourage the senior citizen, family, couple and younger generations to preserve the roots and mother tongue for the future generation in Canada.
