Finally received a response from Cabinet Member Cllr Harris Khaliq regarding the road resurfacing programme in Sheldon.
Unfortunately, it appears that Sheaf Lane, Horseshoes Lane and the Radleys are not included in the current Phase 1 works or the identified pipeline of schemes.
However, Brays Road, Church Road and Coalway Avenue have been identified as part of the pipeline for future road improvement works.
While it’s disappointing that some of Sheldon’s roads have been overlooked, it’s positive to see that several key routes have been recognised. I’ll continue to push for Sheaf Lane, Horse Shoes Lane and The Radleys to be included in future phases of the programme and will keep residents updated on any progress.

I was out on my Sunday walk when I came across this fly-tip on Hob Moor Road. I’ve reported it to the council, but it’s really sad to see people treating our streets like this.
Birmingham is our home, not a dumping ground. It’s unfair on residents, damaging to the area, and completely unacceptable. We all have a responsibility to keep our neighbourhoods clean and look after the place we live in.
