Chevening scholar Roaa Ahmed is making the most of the opportunities available as part of a Chevening Scholarship. She recently visited the historic town of Bath with fellow Egyptian scholars, learning more about UK culture and traditions with her new Chevening network.
'When I travel with fellow Cheveners, we're not just sightseeing but gaining new perspectives. Someone will make a connection to something back home in Egypt or ask a question that reframes what I've experienced and sparks a deep conversation about cities, cultures and ourselves.'
Studying outside London on a Chevening Scholarship offers scholars the chance to experience different parts of the UK, all while building friendships that last a lifetime along the way 🎓

'My Scholarship has changed the way I think about healthcare innovation and accessibility.' 💙
For Sayuri studying Digital Health and Entrepreneurship at UCL, she's learning new approaches to make lasting impact in South Africa.
'As a medical doctor, I want to build digital health systems that are truly inclusive.
Through my course, I've developed skills in health system design, the ethical use of AI, and how solutions can be built with communities, not just for them.
This means designing with accessibility at the heart, accounting for different abilities, literacy levels and the real conditions people every day.'
