“People forget that they need to have fun.”

Artist, founder, cyclist, skater and filmmaker, Justo Heras has spent over fifteen years building Laser Barcelona from the cultures that shaped him. From the underground fixed-gear scene to art, streetwear and the open road, his journey has been defined by curiosity, experimentation and a refusal to be confined to one discipline.
Now, after years of doing everything at full speed, he’s finding a different measure of success: more time to create, more time to ride, and more room to enjoy the life he’s built.

Two days, 215 km, and 4,361 m of climbing through the wild heart of Taiwan.

We joined forces with nabiis cycles & coffee and .taipei for a stayover expedition from Taipei to the ancient mountain village of Smangus—a weekend where quiet pre-dawn river paths gave way to misty valleys and densely forested mountains. From a punishing 33 km ascent to Yulao, to trading cleats for hiking boots for an amble among 2,500-year-old red cypress trees, this was a ride defined by endless climbs, cool mountain air, and a healthy amount of shared suffering.

The last kilometres home were ridden under city lights as the day ran out. Big thanks to the crew and special guest Kunlaporn Charoensuk for an unforgettable journey.

And just like that, the season is done.

Life Time Big Sugar Classic marks the end of the season for many of our gravel riders, seeing out the season finale in Bentonville, Arkansas.

A big field, big crowds, and plenty of memories made, it’s a fitting end to a long season.

In the women’s race, Ella Bloor and Haley Smith each delivered rides they can be proud of in a field that never let up for a moment, and we’re proud to have had them all racing in QUOC. Well done to every rider who lined up down under.

Coming into Worlds as last year’s champion puts a target on your back, and Florian Vermeersch rode with all of that pressure through one of the most fiercely contested races of the year to finish second against the best gravel riders on the planet.

One year in the rainbow stripes.

This Sunday, QUOC athlete and reigning Gravel World Champion Florian Vermeersch lines up in Nannup, Western Australia to defend his title. Last year, Florian made the decisive break with 125km still to race, before going solo in the final 19km to take the rainbow jersey.

A new continent, course and challenge awaits, we’re excited to watch!

« It’s not because of where you’re from that you can’t achieve something. »

From discovering racing through his brother in Goma to becoming DRC National Champion and the first rider from his country ever to win a UCI stage, Joël Kyaviro has built a career few from the DRC have ever been given the chance to imagine.

It’s a story about how sport changed his life, about the kind of challenges most riders never have to face, and about why, through all of it, he still dreams big. Now, as founder of the Tumaini Cycling Academy, he is using the bike to open doors for a new generation.

Meet Simon and Julien: ultra-distance pair racers who tackle brutal multi-thousand-kilometer sufferfests with impressive endurance, unorthodox sleep strategies, and zero interest in taking themselves seriously. From winning races « by accident » to throwing toddler-style tantrums while swearing at the universe on 20% gradient Albanian gravel, this is what happens when bad decisions meet incredible landscapes. As they prepare to line up for Ta**us Mountain Race this month, swipe through to get to know QUOC’s favorite unfiltered duo.
