We have been having a very exciting time at nursery as it’s spring and spring time means LIVING eggs! We have 9 chicks, 4 boys and 5 girls. We have been learning all about them and the children have been fascinated with the whole process!

Yesterday marked our 11th birthday! We had lots of fun activities to celebrate with the children and lots of balloons throughout the nursery!
Paul and I are so grateful to work with such a passionate and dedicated team as they are the people who make our nursery such a special place to be, thank you! 🥳

Today we went to visit our local care home for some inter-generational socialisation. The children were excited to go in the lift when we arrived and then we all sat down and listened to one of the residents reading a story, The Gingerbread Man. The children listened to the story with great interest and then we all had lots of conversations about the story together. It was such a lovely morning.

We had an exciting adventure today during our Forest School session where we learnt all about fire safety and then lit a fire using a flint and kindling. We then used our dragon made dough to bake bread on the fire which we enjoyed together.
